Clemson’s Historic Wedding Venue
The historic J.C. Stribling Barn that we use for our Wedding Venues at Sleepy Hollow was built in the mid-1800s. The bricks were handmade from the clay pits on the property. The over 75,000 hand-made bricks come in different colors, from light rosy brown to deep burnt red. Inside, the barn has high wooden ceilings, dark pine floors, and 5 wagon wheel chandeliers. The red metal roof and the gable-style main entrance give the barn a distinct late Victorian look. The barn is 70 feet (21 m) long and 50 feet (15 m) wide. It can seat 150 people and has a full capacity of 300 guests.
The main entrance is close to our Wedding Green which serves as the formal seating area for most weddings. Most brides find the unique interior needs little decoration for a lovely ceremony and wedding reception.
I had dreamed of using this venue for 10 years and it did not disappoint! Steve and his wife were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They worked around my schedule every time I wanted to see the venue. They responded to texts and emails within hours. They set up and tore down tables and chairs for us which was very helpful. They also took my photographer around the venue to see some hidden jems for photos and helped my guests find where to park!
Best decision we made for our wedding! Steve is wonderful to work with, quick to respond, and very relaxed. He made the transition from the ceremony to reception seamless. Everything looked beautiful and was well kept. The bridal suite was perfect for my bridesmaids and me! You won’t be disappointed with this venue!
Lovely venue for a wedding! The people were so helpful and set everything up the way we wanted it. They were on standby for us to decide last minute if we wanted the ceremony outside or inside. The barn was beautiful and had plenty of space for the 120 person wedding we had.

Great example was that we only had to give one hour notice on if wedding ceremony would be inside or outside, and they would accommodate either way with set-up.
